ARTICLE 1: SPORTIVE ATTITUDE AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Transgrancanaria race is held with absolute respect for environment. Traffic circulation won’t be stopped and participants must respect the rules of the road in towns and on roads for public use. Participants will be disqualified from the competition if they display paramilitary behavior, advocate terrorism, show signs of violent or xenophobic behaviour or leave rubbish behind. It is compulsory to respect crops, livestock and private property. Participants will be responsible for all damages they cause.

ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

2.1 REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Only entries made through Chronorace will be accepted. The necessary forms must to be completed and the registration fee needs to be paid with a credit/debit card.

Each participant must complete his/her personal data successfully, as it will be used by the organization during the collection of the race numbers.

128 KM. POSITIVE ELEVATION: 7,500 M

The mother of all races, every proper runner desires to overcome this engaging physical test. The race is is aimed for ultra endurance race top runners, and nature and adventure lovers. The Transgrancanaria race is specially made for you! Take your time to delight yourself in the most remarkable landscapes in Gran Canaria as you challenge the course on foot in less than 30 hours. You won’t be alone, of course. Spectators and other runners will support you from start to finish, as they all acknowledge and respect the strong will to overcome one’s limits that is necessary to tackle this challenge.

Registered participants in the Transgrancanaria 360º, Transgrancanaria Classic and Transgrancanaria Advanced, must present the document medical certificate filled and signed by a doctor. This form is valid for one year before the race unless it is necessary to modify it because of disease or injury. It must be uploaded to the registration site, since 17 of June 2019 until 4th of February 2020.

Registration will not be ended or validated until the runner encloses the medical certificate and the organization confirms it. A paid inscription without a medical certificate will not be valid. The certificate will validate the participant’s capacity for the race. The medical form of other race will not be valid only Transgrancanaria form or Spain Ultra Cup form.

AVITUALLAMIENTO CENTRAL EN EL GARAÑÓN

El avituallamiento situado en El Garañón (km 84,3) es el habilitado por la carrera para el cambio de mochila de los participantes en la Transgrancanaria. Los corredores interesados en hacer un cambio de mochila, deberán llevar a la entrega de dorsales su mochila o el material que deseen recibir en El Garañón e introducirlo en una de las bolsas facilitadas por la organización. En El Garañón también habrá habilitadas zonas de descanso, comida caliente y asistencia médica.

ASISTENCIA EXTERNA

Los participantes en la Transgrancanaria podrán recibir asistencia externa en las zonas señalizadas  que comprenderán 100 metros antes del avituallamiento de la prueba y 100 metros después. Nunca podrá ser en la zona de avituallamiento usada por la organización.

Los avituallamientos externos serán todos excepto Arucas (Santidad Alta), la Presa de los Pérez y Hierbahuerto.

La Transgrancanaria (128 km) será una de las carreras que formarán en 2020 parte del Spain Ultra Cup.

La Transgrancanaria de 128 km es una de las representantes españolas de las carreras que forman parte del circuito internacional de carreras de                                 montaña Ultra-Trail® World Tour en categoría Bonus Series.

PUNTUACIÓN PARA EL ULTRA-TRAIL DU MONT BLANC

La Transgrancanaria 360º otorgará 6 puntos de cualificación para el Ultra-Trail du Mont Bla

Plenty of food to eat throughout the race.

Race number, worn in the front so that it is easily visible.
