ARTICLE 1: SPORTIVE ATTITUDE AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Transgrancanaria race is held with absolute respect for environment. Traffic circulation won’t be stopped and participants must respect the rules of the road in towns and on roads for public use. Participants will be disqualified from the competition if they display paramilitary behavior, advocate terrorism, show signs of violent or xenophobic behaviour or leave rubbish behind. It is compulsory to respect crops, livestock and private property. Participants will be responsible for all damages they cause.

ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

2.1 REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Only entries made through Chronorace will be accepted. The necessary forms must to be completed and the registration fee needs to be paid with a credit/debit card.

Each participant must complete his/her personal data successfully, as it will be used by the organization during the collection of the race numbers.

42 KM. POSITIVE ELEVATION: 1000 M.

At a distance of 42 km with 1.200 meters of positive elevation this is the perfect race if you enjoying physically demanding hiking or if you are a keen runner.

This race is 42 kilometres and descends most of the way providing a competitive race. Running this race will allow you to check your own physical abilities, and help you to decide whether you are capable of making the jump to the next level in mountain running.

The route will allow you to enjoy a spectacular part of the island along narrow footpaths adorned with the greenery typical of a Canarian Winter.

EXTERNAL ASSISTANCE

All the runners that required these areas could use them. These will be signalled in 100 meters before the provisioning point and 100 meters after, but never in the provisioning area of the organization.

External assistance will not be allowed in the following aid station: Hierbahuerto.

BE PART OF THE SPAIN ULTRA CUP ‘M’

Transgrancanaria Marathon will be part of the  Spain Ultra Cup ‘M’, a league which gathers races between 42 and 69 km in Spain.

ULTRA TRAIL-DU MONT BLANC QUALIFICATION

Transgrancanaria Marathon 42 km will give 2 qualifying points with the new ITRA scale for the Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc.
